Steve has been a Licensed General Contractor in California for the past 26 years, since 1983. To remove any possible conflict of interest, Steve has decided to put his license status into "in-active" and concentrate on the business of inspecting your home.
 
Steve is a member in good standing with The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors also known as InterNachi.

More About Steve Barrett .....

Steve was born in 1949 in San Bernardino, California. 

Steve started working in construction right out of High School, painting and “fixing things."

This came fairly easy for Steve as that’s what he saw his Dad doing around the house.

During the 15 years that followed, Steve learned even more by working in the construction trades including roofing, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, framing, finish carpentry, concrete, ceramic tile and vinyl flooring.

Learning to build and repair things the “Right Way” from professionals has helped Steve to personally adopt the motto of “Do it right, or Not at all.”

Building new construction, remodeling and rebuilding fire damaged homes for the following years was how he applied all of his experience.

In 1983, Steve became a Licensed General Building Contractor. He has been giving quality to everything he does and "Doing It Right" ....... ever since.
